Silver plating solution, rub it on, and it doesn't rub off!
Works best on copper-based metals (copper, brass, bronze) including EPNS (electroplated nickel silver - silver plated on copper).
It will not work on chrome or steel (it goes on...it comes off), it will not work on filigree (it doesn't like the gaps).

How is the silver plate applied to the item?
A soft cotton cloth, cotton wool, even tissue.
I find that cotton wool works best but it soaks up an awful lot of the liquid. A cotton cloth is more economical. -
Will it work on silver plated forks where the silver plating is wearing off.
