These are folding magnifiers that fit comfortably in the pocket. Unlike jeweller's loupes (which are also folding magnifiers but smaller and more powerful, for jewellery and gemstones) these folding magnifiers are larger, mostly for 'general use' such as reading small print, or checking larger marks on antiques.
