QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
Hi, What would the working length be like on these and how is the image quality? Any distortion? Thanks!
Not bad quality, not too much distortion. As a general measure of quality - our "simple" (not surgeon's-type) head-worn magnifiers vary in price from under £4.00 to over £80.00.
Working distance with a 'simple' lens is directly related to magnifications, the approximate distances for this lens marked in bold:
1 inch = 10X magnification
2 inch = 5X magnification
2½ inch = 4X magnification
3 inch = 3.4X magnification
3½ inch = 2.8X magnification
4 inch = 2.5X magnification
5 inch = 2X magnification
6 inch = 1.7X magnification
7 inch = 1.5X magnification
8 inch = 1.3X magnification
9 inch = 1.1X magnification
Please note, magnification (how may times larger / how much closer you get) assumes you have normal eyesight, details.
