Full-size table balance.

Approved by Trading Standards for use in trade. That means you can use this for weighing precious metals when buying by weight. Approved for use anywhere, not limited by location (as are the older models of approved balances).

1500g / 0.01g when used for your own information, away from customers

1500g / 0.1g when used in front of customers for buying precious metals (it will still give a reading to 0.001g, you're meant to ignore the last decimal place and only use it for weighing to the nearest 0.1g)

Battery or mains (takes standard AA batteries)

Compact lightweight yet sturdy

Superior overload protection, you'd have to weigh 15,000g before it breaks (very difficult to do, though not impossible!)

Can be used anywhere, a calibration weight is built into the balance,

Guarantee, one year

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • does this come with a certificate and seal ?

    A seal: yes.
    Also the approval marks.
A certificate: no. You don't need a certificate too, they don't supply one.

Any Weights & Measures Inspector will see the seal and approval marks and will know it's approved for use in trade.

  • do these scales weigh in grams and ounces

    Grams yes, ounces no.
