Summary
About 1.6X magnification. A cylinder of plastic, rest it on the page, slide it down. The magnifying part measures 160mm (6.5 inches) long X 24mm (1 inch) across; there is also a little 'inset' at the end, 6X magnification / 15mm diameter.
Particularly good for dyslexics - it's not the magnification that helps, it's the 'guide line' that stops the eye from wandering.
