Can be used as a handheld magnifier, but it is also designed so that it can rest on the page (more comfortable for prolonged reading). Very bright LED light.

Comments

As a reading lens this is quite small, though you do get a whopping 10X magnification for your money. If your sight is that poor then you really do have big problems - you will have to pear very closely, you will only see one or two words at a time...but this might work if not other magnifier works for you.

The photo of what you will see through the lens is a 'true' photo, it has not been enhanced (i.e. the text really does appear that large and that clear).

Why is the price is so low? (the retail price is £66.00).

Because we bought a 'job lot' of Schweizer magnifiers from a large company - they bought them from Schweizer (i.e. these ARE genuine!) then decided not to deal in optics.

This does mean that once these have gone there will be no more!
