Measure the stone, find a calculator, refer to the formula we give you, look up the gemstone (we give you constants for 16 gemstones), calculate the weight.

Tolerances: unknown. I can only guess: (this is not a guarantee) ± 0.02mm.
Accuracy: I'd guess (this is not a guarantee) it would be accurate to within 0.1mm when measuring 25mm (the error on smaller measurements would be less).
