LED light

Lightweight, adjustable headband with extra support (the band that goes across the top of your head) for prolonged use. it makes the entire magnifier feel 'weightless' which really does make a difference, you can wear this hours and hardly notice it's there.

Lens can swung up out of the way, e.g. if you can't be bothered to take it off each time you have a visitor or drink a cup of coffee.

This is also the most versatile, it comes with a box of five lenses, and you can choose to use them singly or two at a time (see picture). The magnifications of the individual lenses are 1.1X, 1.5X, 2X, 2½X and 3½X. Being able to pair them up gives a possible 20 different magnifications from 1.1X (working distance 9 inches) to 6X (working distance just over 1.5 inches).

Can be worn over the top of spectacles or without spectacles.

{Applications}
Suitable for reading, crafts, or for simple engineering work.
The lower magnifications give a long working distance, good for working with larger objects, e.g. fly-tying, wiring in fuse cupboards or switch rooms (its high power light helps). The higher magnifications are suitable for smaller objects such as watch movements or PCBs.

By combining the lenses you can get any of the following (magnification / working distance in inches):

Using just single lenses gives you (magnification / working distance):

1.1X, 9 inches
1.5X, 6.5 inches
2X, 5 inches
2.5X, 4 inches
3.5X, 3 inches

It is possible to combine the lenses (i.e. use any two at one time) in 20 different ways. Here are some examples:

To make 2.6X try combining the 1.1X + 1.5X lenses (working distance will be approx. 4 inches)

To make 3.1X try combining the 1.1X + 2X lenses (working distance will be approx. 3¼ inches)
To make 3.5X try combining the 1.5X + 2X lenses (working distance will be approx. 3 inches)
To make 3.6X try combining the 1.1X + 2.5X lenses (working distance will be approx. 2¾ inches)

To make 4X try combining the 1.5X + 2.5X lenses (working distance will be approx. 2.5 inches)
To make 4.5X try combining the 2X + 2.5X lenses (working distance will be approx. 2¼ inches)
To make 4.6X try combining the 1.1X + 3.5X lenses (working distance will be approx. 2 inches)

To make 5X try combining the 1.5X + 3.5X lenses (working distance will be approx. 2 inches)
To make 5.5X try combining the 2X + 3.5X lenses (working distance will be approx. 2 inches)

To make 6X try combining the 2.5X + 3.5X lenses (working distance will be approx. 1.5 inches)
