Very high capacity slimline table balance, beautifully-constructed, large backlist display, battery or USB power. Combined with its super-slimline profile and light weight, it's the ideal table balance for carrying around.

Weighs down to 0.1g for gold and up to 5kg and it can be switched to Troy ounces (i.e. 31.1g - 1ozTroy for weighing gold and silver, NOT 28g-1oz for weighing food). This is the most versatile table balance for gold and silver. In fact, this is a truly all-purpose balance: for gold and silver, letters and parcels.

COUNTING FUNCTION:  can be programmed to 'count' rather than weigh, e.g. weigh a sample batch of 100 jump rings, press a couple of buttons, now you can pour hundreds (or thousands) of jump rings onto the scale and it will display the quantity rather than the weight.

Guarantee

10 years. This covers manufacturing faults only, it excludes normal wear and tear, bowls, trays, finishes, clasps, hinges, feet, AC adaptors and batteries; it also excludes being overloaded / dropped (e.g. error messages EEE, 0-Ld, or OUEr). The guarantee is invalid if the scale shows signs of foreign material (e.g. residues of herbs, chemicals, corrosion, spilt tea).  After 1 year you must pay the postage both ways (and also, after 1 year, allow time for us to send it back to the supplier for evaluation). 

Inaccurate readings can be fixed by calibrating the scale, this is something that is very easy for you to do yourself with the 500g weight supplied.  Giving inaccurate readings does not mean it is broken - all electronic measuring devices need calibrating every now and again, see calibrating weighing machines.
