Approved beam balance + weights + pocket balance

Summary

THIS IS A SECOND HAND ITEM. 

Approved by Trading Standards for buying and selling by weight. If your scale isn't approved, then you are not permitted to buy or sell on a price-per-gram basis, if you have an inspection by Weights & Measures, they will prosecute you. This is highly likely if you have a shop or unit, less likely (but possible!) if you work at fairs and markets.

This mechanical beam balance is approved, and so too is every weight in the box. And all for a fraction the price of an electronic approved scale. 

You put the gold on one side, then weights on the other side until it balances. Since this is a bit fiddly compared with using a digital scale, we will include a cheap non-approved pocket scale (not pictured): weigh the item on the cheap non-approved pocket scale so that you know which weights to put on the beam balance.

Every weight has been tested and approved:
MAIN WEIGHTS: 500g, 100g, 50g, 20g, 20g, 10g, 5g, 2g, 1g.
FRACTION-WEIGHTS 500mg, 200mg, 200mg, 100mg, 50mg, 20mg, 10mg.

Legal

No restrictions, you can carry it around the country (if you wish) and use it anywhere for buying or selling precious metals by weight.
