Comments

Light is as important as magnification, without a good light the best loupe is of little use. Sitting at a desk this isn't a problem, use any table light; working as a gemmologist you will have your own light source, but working at dimly-lit auction halls or early morning markets - you will need a light!

The light in this loupe is in the form of a 'rim' all the way around the lens, which is much better than 'spot' lights which can cause reflections and make it more difficult to see.
