...BUT PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THIS SERVICE, PAYOFFLINE DISCONTINUED ON 31 OCTOBER 2008.
There were two problems with PayOffline:
They (PayOffline) say on there web site and in the invoice they send you, that the payment will be cleared in 24 to 48 hours and then the goods will be dispatched.
None of this is true. And, worse, customers think it is us (Quicktest) who are sending them the invoice with this wording.
Firstly, payment is cleared in three weeks. We are NOTIFIED of the transaction in 24 to 48 hours, we are paid three weeks later. If they (PayOffline) expect us to wait until payment is cleared, then you (the customer) must to wait three weeks for dispatch.
Secondly, their wording implies that we will send the goods in 24 to 48 hours. We CAN do this, but only if you have paid for Next Day Delivery, otherwise delivery will be longer (3 to 6 days, or 21 days, depending on which service you have paid for).
The other problem is that although there are, supposedly, 17,000 PayZone points in the U.K, I’ve never seen one! And for a long time I got PayOffline confused with PayZone (which you see everywhere) – the two systems are not the same, even the shopkeepers get confused.
(There is, actually, a fourth problem which is that PayOffline doesn't work with our order-processing system, Actinic, a problem PayOffline have been trying to fix for a few months)
