IN A HURRY?

If you need the goods today you can visit us in person. We are in West Watford (Croxley) which is exactly half way between the towns of Watford and Rickmansworth in South Hertfordshire, just North West of London. Please telephone for an appointment, unexpected visitors will be turned away.

If you need the goods the next working day (UK only) pay by credit card or bank transfer over the Internet, we can usually dispatch them the same working day, but it depends on:
a)  how late in the day you place the order (click here  for this week's deadlines)  
b)  how much you pay for carriage - you must pay for Next Day Delivery. 

We do not accept cards over the telephone, that includes credit cards, debit cards, charge cards, birthday cards or any other type of card.

If you don't want to order and pay online, telephone 01923 220206, we will tell you the total and give you a number* to write on the back of the cheque - the goods can be sent by return of post (providing you pay for Next Day Delivery).
* Two people have telephoned, after reading this paragraph, to ask if they must have a number before they can place an order.  The answer is: NO!  I'm merely trying to save customers the trouble of having to fill in an order form.

CREDIT CARDS

We accept credit cards from most countries (subject to security checks from Credit Call). The payment system is Actinic Payments, the bank is HSBC.

Cards only accepted online, we do not accept cards over the telephone, that includes credit cards, debit cards, charge cards, birthday cards or any other type of card.

NOCHEX and TELEPHONE ORDERS

Nochex is the British version of Paypal (almost identical, easier to use, fewer rules).

Nochex also accept credit cards. If you order by telephone we will email a link to Nochex - you will be taken to the Nochex website, to a form that is already filled in with the amount and reference number, you simply select a credit card...and pay. If you don't like clicking on links in emails to pay, you can pay manually, see instructions. We do not accept cards over the telephone.

PAYMENT BY BANK TRANSFER

Most banks in the U.K. now operate Faster Payments - pay online or through Telephone Banking and the money will be in our account within two hours.

Order online and select Bank Transfer as the payment method, we will email you the payment instructions (during office hours) - or to see them now, click payment by bank transfer (this includes our bank details and instructions for overeseas customers).

 

PAYMENT BY SNAIL MAIL

We accept any form of payment that is money: personal cheque, business cheque, Building Society cheque, Bank Draft, Personal Money Order, Counter cheque, Cashiers Cheque, Postal Order, Moneygram, International Money Orders, Green Shield Stamps...we even accept cash (Pounds, Dollars or Euros) providing it is insured in transit.

COLLECTIONS / OTHER SUPPLIERS

If you are in Watford you may visit the QUICKTEST office, see Buying from the Office for directions and a map.

We exhibit at the Kempton antiques fair on the last Tuesday of the month, 6.30am to 11.30am, in the main hall (look for the QUICKTEST sign). If you can't find us, call 07976 831953. This telephone is only used at the antiques fairs, so there is no point in phoning this number at any other time.

Bob, who runs the QUICKTEST stand at the Shepton fair, keeps a selection of stock at Sparkford. Bob's 'proper' job is as a  freelance courier, your order (or any goods at all) are delivered for 77p. per mile (from Sparkford), tel. 01963 440701 (Bob, home).

We manufacture the TROYTEST and QUICKTEST testers, they are available from most jewellery wholesalers in Hatton Garden (London) and Hockley (Birmingham).
