Yes, it 'works fine' - but at £9.50 the image isn't as sharp and bright as its more expensive cousins above; and it's round rather than long; and it's made of glass rather than plastic which makes it heavy to carry around. But as a powerful rest-on-page magnifier at a budget price, it really is fine.
