A good general purpose magnifier for map reading in the car at night. The light is quite bright enough to see the map but not dazzling, the lens size is good, and I like the small 'inset' lens with the extra-high magnification for reading tiny detail...though, generally, I don't like these extra lenses for reading books and newspapers, I think they are a distraction.
This is not the strongest magnification (strong magnifiers are always small) and it is not the largest (larger magnifiers are always weak) but it was popular with my panel of testers as a good 'general purpose' magnifier.
