High quality nylon-tipped tweezers, designed originally for electronics work but ideally suited to changing watch batteries, easy to handle, avoids touching the battery with metal and short-circuiting it - the reason for customers returning to the jewellers every couple of weeks complaining that their battery has gone flat.People who bought this item also bought:

Many a time I have fetched the big box labelled "electrical repair" and set up the volt meter, just to test a battery. If only I had known about these! Press the ends either side of the battery (any 1.5 volt cell, e.g. watch battery / button battery)...and if the battery is good the entire end of the tweezers light up. So simple!People who bought this item also bought:

I have tried 'third hands' with the two adjustable crocodile clips and, as far as I can see, they are so complicated they are impossible for a two-armed human to use. This one, however, is wonderful! An easily-adjustable self-locking tweezer (included) holds the item whilst YOUR two hands do the work!People who bought this item also bought:

These tweezers have two fine slits in the end for holding small screws (e.g. for spectacles). If you have ever tried fitting small screws you will know that it is difficult holding them in flat tweezers and nearly impossible just using your fingers.Widest part of the slit is 1mm across, tapering to about 0.2mm.People who bought this item also bought:

Apollo 5.s Swiss, 5" long, with the finest point you have ever seen, for gentle handling of the smallest of watch parts. Although I advertise these as 'watchmakers' tweezers, I have also sold quite a few to a hospital laboratory. It is made of tungsten-steel because a standard 'stainless' steel would be too soft, those fine tips would bend out of shape.
