As you see, it has a space for a third objective lens.This belonged to a now-retired gemmologist, hence the under-stage lighting system (which you can replace with the mirror if required) and the box of extras: mirror, stone-holder, immersion cell, red filters, polariser. IMPORTANT: for legal and safety reasons, all wiring will be removed from the rheostat (which is mains-powered) but we leave the wiring on the microscope because the input is only 7V.
