These are just 3 inches long. OK for occasional use, good if have a 'buying bag' of equipment and need to keep the bulk and weight to a minimum, nice to use if you have exceptionally small hands. Some people like this size because they think small items of jewellery require tiny tools - that's not necessarily so, but these are very popular.
