We have the largest selection of binoculars in the U.K. This includes 'old' binoculars from the 1950s to 1970s, 'modern' binoculars from the 1980s onwards, military binoculars from the two world wars, early prismatic binoculars (pre-WWI), and antique binoculars (Galilean) from the Nineteenth Century. I prefer high quality low-power stereo microscopes, best for gemstones, jewellery-repairing, watchmaking, forgery-detection in stamps and coins, renovation of paintings etc. ...but I sometimes get other types of microscope too. For pocket microscopes (new and old) see MAGNIFIERS.
