Has special approval stickers and seals so that it can't be opened, and comes with a certificate to show that it is approved. As part of the approval procedure, all extra features (there are a few listed in the instruction manual) are disabled.

These are calibrated ("adjusted") by a Trading Standards Weights & Measurements technician to allow for variations in gravity. Gravity varies from place to place. You must give us the location (the postcode) at which these will be used. They will then be calibrated for that postcode. They must not be used (for buying by weight) at any other postcode.

Because these have to be calibrated to a postcode, they are 'Special Order' (not 'stock') items and CANNOT be returned if unsuitable (for new STOCK items we offer a no-quibble 14 days return if you are not 100% satisfied).

Calibration takes about 10 days. If you paying for next day delivery, we will send it on a next day delivery service. But you will still have to wait the 10 days for calibration.

Auto-calibrate means these can be used anywhere, you press a button, it adjusts itself to variations in gravity (because gravity varies from location to location).

The exceptional sensitivity of the FZ-320g means that you could use it for buying gold (320g is about 10oz) and at the same time evaluate (though not buy by weight) gemstones and diamonds (0.001g = 0.005 carat = 0.5 points).

The higher-capacity model FZ-1200g weighs (for buying by weight) down 0.1g and is also suitable for silver (1200g is about 39oz), the best all-rounder.
