I've taken our very best quality jewellers loupe (my personal favourite for quality): the 10X12 4-element (better than a 'triplet) and I've re-engineered it so that it will clip to the side of spectacles.

The working distance is a bit too close for using standard watchmaking tools but ideal for inspecting small parts, e.g. the balance wheels an adjustment has been made.

I've taken the largest Zeiss lens (THE actual best!) and fitted a clip so that it will fit to the side of spectacles. The clip is reversable (to fit on either side of spectacles) and also removable (to use as a standard loupe).

This is the most powerful by Zeiss, for the closest work. Do remember, this also means the shortest working distance, choose the previous item if you need enough room to work with tools.
