The 10X may not be large but size is not everything: the image is the best of all the loupes (with the possible exception of the Zeiss) - perfect to the very edge of the lens ('flat field' - that's rare!).

10X magnification, 12mm dia. lens. Folds into strong metal case, the most popular for traders who keep losing their loupe and don't want to spend much, and the quality is quite 'adequate' for reading small marks though not (in my opinion) good enough for examining inclusions in gemstones.

I quite like this one, the lens is slightly larger than the 10X12 above, but overall (in its case) it's a bit smaller, nice to carry in the pocket. The optical quality is about the same as the 10X12 above.

This loupe is VERY popular at the fairs, customers don't compare it with anything else, they simply want the most powerful at the cheapest possible price. "Does it work?" you say. Of course it 'works'! But obviously you get a better lens that gives a far clearer image if you spend more money (especially if you spend more money AND choose a lower magnification)

IF I were to choose a loupe of more than 10X magnification my choice would have to be the 15X, it is tiny and the image is perfect to the very edge of the lens ('flat field' - that's rare!). Personally, I find a 10X easier to use.

20X is good, but a bit too powerful for my liking. However, if you do want a 20X, this one is the best of the lot.

One arm extends to 7 inches (single swivel-tilt mechanism), supplied in a heavy duty pouch, lens is 20mm diameter, 10X magnification. Quite adequate for quick inspection or emergency repairs but not (in my opinion) good enough for working under for prolonged periods (see other loupe on a stand, ref. 10X30-stand). Good value nevertheless.
