The ATG1 must be regularly checked (calibrated) against a sample of 14ct yellow gold - it must be YELLOW gold and it must be EXACTLY 14ct.

You do get one calibration sample free with each tester, but you may wish to buy a spare. Or if you've been using your own, and you aren't sure if it's EXACTLY 14ct, then buy one of ours.

Two sizes. The weights are approximate, we are not selling these samples by weight.
